Frank is a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University and the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He served two years with the Public Health Service in Talequah, Oklahoma, and then completed a residency in ophthalmology at Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore. He practiced ophthalmology for 28 years in Emporia, Kansas, before retiring and moving to Naples in 2000.
Frank began playing clarinet in 6th grade and continued through high school. While working in Kansas, he played with the City of Emporia summer band. After moving to Naples he joined the Naples Concert Band and the Music Foundation of Greater Naples. He is a past president of both organizations and is pleased to rejoin the Music Foundation of Greater Naples after previously serving two three-year terms.
